FAQ
Savings Rewards come from real revenue that your enrolled assets help generate. When you activate Savings Rewards, UEX puts enrolled assets to work in three ways — and only these three:
- Trade matching and spread. Not every trade on the platform needs to be executed on external markets. Because we hold enough total value to cover all user balances at all times, we can match many trades internally and earn the bid-ask spread, going to outside markets only to hedge our net exposure. More liquidity means more internal matching — and more revenue.
- Native staking. Proof-of-stake assets (like SOL, ATOM, and AVAX) are staked through our own or vetted third-party validators, earning network staking rewards. This is why select assets carry boosted rates.
- Over-collateralized lending. We fund crypto-backed loans on the platform. Every loan is secured by collateral worth more than the loan itself, and using Program assets instead of external credit lines means more of the lending revenue flows back to the Program.
A share of this revenue is paid to you as Rewards — calculated daily and added to your balance automatically.
What we can never do with your assets: spend them on company expenses, pledge them for our own debts, trade them for our own account, or transfer them to insiders. The permitted uses above are an exclusive list, written into Section 10 of our Terms of Service.
Your coverage. At all times, UEX maintains total value — deployed assets, loan collateral, and a liquidity reserve — of at least 100% of everything owed to all Savings Rewards users, so you can withdraw anytime with no lock-ups.
Know the risks. Savings Rewards is optional and only applies to assets in the balance you enroll. Rates are variable and can move up or down with market conditions. Program balances are not bank deposits and not FDIC or SIPC insured, and the permitted uses carry market, staking, and lending risk.
